"Canary Row" was a bit of an outstanding Sylvester and Tweety cartoon since this is Granny's first cartoon,in the previous cartoons tweety didn't have a ownwer. In my opinion,Granny's inclusion in the S&T cartoons further watered down Tweety as a character. His dependence on Granny to save him from Sylvester grew more through the years,so Tweety became nothing more then a cute,helpless bird.I prefer the sadisitic Tweety from Bob Clampett.On the plus column,the writers managed to make Granny a pretty clever character in this cartoon.She whould be even better when she was eventually voiced by voice goddess June Foray. Overall,a standard S&T cartoon but Granny thrown into the mix makes it even better.
