Not a great deal of gags in here to be honest and not a lot happening generally until the end, by which time I’m not in the mood to care anymore; it may only be seven minutes, but it’s a long seven minutes.

To be honest the start is probably the best part of the short, as Bugs comment on the fact that he’s safer in the city away from the hunters; completely unaware of the fact that he is missing death by mere inches as he blindly walks across busy streets reading his newspaper.

Then he get into Mugsy’s car, mistaking it for a taxi and the short seems to fall apart; Bugs end up doing very little wascallying here. There are a few good gags here and there, particularly the end one (which as the review below states is just a repeat from older Bugs shorts), but all the characters concerned have been in much better shorts and for Bugs, it barely scraps even.

"Bugs and Thugs" was pretty standard,Bugs accidently meets up with gangsters and out wits them. The gags Bugs pulls on the gangsters are pretty funny throughout the cartoon. The final act of the cartoon is even funnier, but it is a rehash of an older Bugs Bunny cartoon with a simular plot line. I personally prefer the secound apperance of Mugsy and Rocky in "Bugs and Mugsy".
