A slightly different premise than usual: Bugs get himself into a conflict which is basically his fault, but nevermind - it's still against bad guys.

Conveniently Bugs has a burrow in a baseball field (I just realised how common a device this is for getting him to be where the action is taking place). A team of brutish thugs are beating the pants off a team of geriatrics, and cheating into the bargain. Whether Bugs is outraged by this or just has a big mouth is unsure, but in any case he heckles the thugs until they demand he prove his boast that he could beat them single-handed.

What follows are a lot of sight-gags and puns (a couple of which don't work, but generally they do),clever ideas and generally satisfying fun. I'm not a huge Bugs fan, but it's pretty funny, and three seems a reasonable score to me.

Anothee Freleng classic, only a character like Bugs Bunny can single handly defeat an entire base ball team. My favoirte gag in this one was Bugs' insane pitches.
