Bambi Meets Godzilla is one of the most pointless things I've ever seen. It's basically about a small deer that gets, well, I'm sure you can guess the rest.

The credits are especially funny, and they seem to build up towards a big climax, not that you get one of course!

There's not much to say about this short, other than watch it and decide for yourself.

Yes, the credits are hilarious and so is the music. Everything is just so funny. Though I must admit as soon as I saw the animation I knew how "Bambi meets Godzilla" was going to end. My favorite line on the credits is “Marv Newland produced by—Mr. and Mrs. Newland”.

The best credits sequence ever, no doubt!

A somewhat surprisingly famous short, considering that if exists something that were not to be taken seriously in anyway, it's IT!

Definitively, not to be taken seriously, don't do that. Just watch it.

Totally random, totally idiotic and totally... funny?

Actually I never expected to find this piece of animation here (or actually discover his background history to be exactly). So as was pointed in the introduction it is indeed a pointless film, but you probably will find yourself laughing a while. See it if you had the chance since it's a very rare film.

P.D: "Bambi meets Godzilla" was used as very "graphic" example of how the culture of merchandise and economic values tends to focus in the interpretations and opinions of people in a incredible variety of ways. This was said by an economic analist (whom I don't even recall his name) in the analytic documentary "The Corporation" based on the critic analysm of the machinery corporations of America. May sound weird but it was indeed a great example and attached perfectly with the acid humor of the documentary.

All animation students everywhere, who have stayed up long, feverish nights trying to finish their final project, have a great appreciation for this film. We're only sorry that Marv did it first.

The credits are fabulous. My personal favourite being "Marv Newland Produced by: Mr. and Mrs. Newland".
