This television series is obviously tinged with educational stuff for children, but has aquired a cult like fan group over the years.

I have to admit, it is adictable. I`ve watched it for a long time now, and despite the show being made for children, the creators include several reffernces to films and shows such as Monty Python, South Park, and other pop media related reffrence that older audiences would know. For instance, Matt Damon provided the voice for his animated self on one featured episode. Its light hearted, and easy for kids to relate too. Every episode features a familiar situation such as making a new friend, telling the truth, etc.

Sure it can be corny at times, but its classic to many who still love the orinal athromorphic aardvark.

Sorry, but I find this a rather tedious, nice, and altogether boring series with nothing to particularly recommend it or otherwise. The characters are, to me, very uninteresting and overbearingly cute. OTOH it has to be one of the most inoffensive things made in the past 10 years, and the only warning I could think of to give it is, 'Don't watch if you're sleepy'.

This is a good series, and I watch it almost every day. It's made me and my parents laugh countless times, and D.W. is really funny. The lessons are good, but the newer episodes are sort of going a bit downhill. I don't like the new actors, for instance, like the new Brain, and the new Arthur. What's funny is D.W. has always been played by a boy!

OK, I had to bump this down to 3 stars. The new episodes keep getting worse. The old ones alone I'd give five, the new ones two.
