I must say this show has given me hours of fun, watching it and personificated it as well. I was very young when I watched it and I really don't remember whether it was GOOD of BAD, but I do remember I loved it and wanted to whatch it over and over again.
When it ended, I used to play with my sister and cousin, playing as the Chipettes, inventing a new episode.

I know, it's cheesy, but it's my childhood. So I will consider it as an important cartoon in my life, no matter what they say about it.

This is one of those fairly rare instances where you wonder if you should even write a review. Nevertheless, people have done so with even less recollection than mine, so I'll proceed.

I hated this show. Really all that I can remember about is that a) Alvin and the Chimpunks had a show - wow! and b) it was utter rubbish.

Considering the era in which it emerged (early 80's), you could argue that it didn't have much competition - but ultimately this doesn't work for me. I found it annoying, grating, stupid and generally awful. I'm giving it an extra half star since maybe there is something worthwhile about it which I've forgotten.
