I remember always thinking of how strange this movie seemed. Not at all like Disney's previous movies, it didn't leave you with the "warm fuzzy" you normally get at the end of it. Instead this one just sort of left you empty. Alice, as many people have said, isn't very likable. Instead of feeling sorry for her often times you wonder why she's so dense or just annoying. There were a few characters I really enjoyed though, the Cheshire cat, the queen of hearts, and the caterpillar. The animation is great, and so is the music. Overall it's not one of Disney's best, but it's not their worst either. I think it's good for a few watches.

I have to say, this was one of Disney's worst movies ever made. The animation was all fine, but did they have to make a movie about the utterly creepy and somewhat disgusting novel "Adventures in Wonderland"?

Alice was just a ditz from the start. In the opening scene, her sister is trying to teach her something, but she's off daydreaming in her own world.

Later she "falls asleep" and sees a rabbit, follows him...and it leads to some very bizarre and dizzying scenes that just scream VERTIGO.

I can't believe I actually paid to rent this movie. It's just so strange...and the strangeness isn't even really well-done.

The only thing that I'd give it props for is perhaps it's memorable characters and songs. Other than that, I advise against seeing it, unless you plan to get high.

I remember how for the longest time this used to be my least favorite Disney movie ever. In fact it is believed that even Disney once apologized for making this movie. It was thought that Alice in Wonderland was Disney's coldest movie. Now I see that this isn't entirely true. Alice in Wonderland does have many things going for it. For one thing, the movie has wonderful animation. It also makes great use of color and imagery to wonderfully convey the weirdness of the world inside the movie. It's this weirdness that's part of the charm of the movie. It has a giddy bounciness and a sense that it is playing with its own sanity. Another thing I like about this movie is that, for once, the villain is actually colorful and interesting and shows that the villain doesn't always have to be a cackling villain in black. The Queen of Hearts is cackling, but she adds her own brand of fun to her evil.

The things I don't like about the movie still remain, namely that Alice isn't a very likable character. She often comes off as seeming like a whiny crybaby. Her songs are also a bit uninspiring. Finally, there also isn't that much plot in this movie to speak of, and it shows in the rather weak way this movie resolves itself.

Despite all these flaws, Alice in Wonderland is still a fun movie with a wonderful cast of secondary characters, if a rather dull main character, and wonderful animation.

Classic Disney animation, fabulous colourful and imaginative interpretation of a classic children's novel.
