A really great little film. It loses out on a higher rating because if you hadn't seen 'Ratatouille', it wouldn't make much sense (but then again, who would have seen this short UNLESS they'd seen 'Ratatouille'?)

The two rat protagonists take you through a murine history which is slightly reminiscent of Mr Peabody's history lectures in
Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The thing which most recommends this short is its ingenious imitation of late 50's, very early 60's style TV animation. These are quite superb. There are short live action segments, too.

As I said, I have to mark this down a little, because it's an adjunct to a feature film, without which it wouldn't make much sense, but all the same, it's damn good.
