Got some fresh trailers just off the grapevine. The first full-length trailer for WALL*E which will be arriving in theatres in June from the talented folks at Pixar. Also, a teaser trailer for Madagascar 2: The Crate Escape which will be coming out in November of this year.
And finally, as a bit of a bonus, a new live-action film with some serious animation roots... the new trailer for Speed Racer.

It would appear that 2008 is, indeed the year of the Rat in more ways than just the Chinese astrological calendar, as Ratatouille took home the golden statue of the 80th academy awards (beating fellow nominees Surf's Up and Persepolis). The winner of the short film is Suzi Templeton’s and Hugh Welchman’s certainly impressive - from what this editor has seen of it - stop motion adaptation of Prokofiev’s classic Peter & the Wolf.
