Wild Things circa 1983

Where the Wild Things Are © DisneyHere's an interesting bit of animation history that someone posted to their blog. It's a YouTube clip that includes test animation for a version of Where the Wild Things Are. It's a very early test of the use of computer animation for the backgrounds combined with traditional cel-drawn animation for the characters. The animation test was directed by then-Disney employee, John Lasseter.
