Keyframe is approaching 3000 reviews!
Listen up all you productive reviewers! We currently have 2699 reviews on the site and that means that the 3000th review is not all that far off. To encourage you all to put your reviewing caps on, we are once again going to run a contest as we did last year when we were approaching our 2000th review.
Here's the deal... for every review written, from now until that 3000th, the user gets one entry into a draw for a $25 gift certificate for Amazon.com and a Keyframe mug of your choice.
So, here's your chance to flesh out your review list. Grab that horrid TV show or that mediocore animated film. Dig into the web animation section or bask in some nostalgia with some Christmas specials. And remember, no skimping on the quality, since quality user reviews is what we're known for!
Whatever you do, start getting those reviews in. The review ticker will hit 3000 before you know it!

Disney's "The Princess and the Frog"
With many, many thanks to Toonanimator for passing this along, we can now offer up a little more information about Disney's first 2D animated feature since Home on the Range.
The Frog and the Princess is, on one level, everything that you'd expect from a Disney 2D feature.
Firstly, it's directed by Ron Clements and John Musker who made their names with such films as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. The film also marks the return to the Broadway style musical and will feature the music of Randy Newman.
However, this isn't quite your standard Disney fairytale. For one, the setting is 1920s New Orleans and the jazz era. Also, our leading lady Tiana, will be the first African American 'Disney Princess'.
I'm sure we're going to be hearing more about this much anticipated return to 2D, so stay tuned for details.
