The rabbits of Watership Down have invited all the other creatures to celebrate Frith's Eve with them. But there is little food, so Hazel, Fiver and their friends set off to find more, only to become lost in the snow, and soon discover humans doing very strange things.

This is a Christmas special from a UK children's animated series, which was based partly on the book and the 1978 theatrical film. Other parts of the series are available on two other DVDs, Journey to Watership Down and Escape to Watership Down, which tell the original story in a much more kid-friendly format than the theatrical film.
