Wallace has discovered to his horror that he's run out of cheese--a major staple in the absent minded inventor's diet. As anybody knows, the moon is made of cheese which makes it the perfect place for a picnic. Wallace builds a rocket and he and his faithful dog, Gromit, fly to the moon for their grand day out.
