The three little pigs are the cool, hip, in demand band. Playing their gig at the House of Straw they are met by the Big Bad Wolf, who wants to join the group. Unfortunately his trumpet playing is terribly square and when the wolf finds himself thrown out of the building he blows it down with his huff and puff music; forcing the Pigs to move on.

Strangely for a Warner Bros. cartoon, all the voices in this short were provided by Stan Freiberg, who also got his first screen credit for 'Vocal' (instead of Mel Blanc). Likewise the music, usually the department of Carl W. Stalling, was this time composed by noted Jazz musician Shorty Rogers.
