Jerry drops a vase on Tom's head, who then gets the blame for breaking it and is thrown out of the house. Jerry enjoys his newfound freedom from the feline for a while, but soon pines for the mayhem and excitement that Tom put into his life. The mouse sets about a plan to get Tom back into Mamma Two-Shoes good books and back into the house.
