In an age long ago, the Great Ak calls a council among the Immortals to ask that the most beloved mortal man in all the world, Santa Claus, be granted the Mantle of Immortality. Ak tells of how Santa was raised in the enchanted Forest of Burzee by wood nymphs, nooks and elves but gave up his happy life there to go into harsh lands of mankind and bring joy to countless children everywhere.
