Bob Parr (aka Mr. Incredible) was at the top of his superhero game. Whether it was rescuing kittens from trees or taking down the super bad guys, he could do it all and nobody loved their job more. That was until the day whe the world turned against superheroes in a typical modern flurry of lawsuits and cynicism. People didn't want superheroes anymore and the government hustled Bob and his family into domestic obscurity.

Fifteen years later, Bob is out of shape and miserable as he futilely attempts to save the world one insurance claim at a time. As his family attempts to keep their superpowers a secret, Bob longs only for the glory of the old days. Until one day he is offered the chance to put on the old suit again, but is it an opportunity to help humanity or something far more sinister...
