Martin Short teamed up with Hanna Barbera to turn his Ed Grimley character from Canada's SCTV into an animated series. Ed is "a sweetly nerdy guy who lives in a funky Victorian apartment with his goldfish Moby and clever rat Sheldon. Storylines include his encounters with the cranky Mr. Freebus, Ed's landlord; Miss Malone, his gorgeous neighbor; the Truly Remarkable Gustav Brothers - Roger and Wendell, identical twins who look nothing alike; and Ed's favorite television program, Count Floyd and his "Really Scaaary Stories Show."
