10 year old Lucas Nickle is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the new city his family has moved to. Ignored by his family and picked upon by the bully at school, Lucas vents his frustration by devising ways to destroy the ant hills in his frontyard. The ants however are rapidly becoming tired of having their homes stomped by Lucas the Destroyer. Their resident wizard creations a potion to shrink Lucas down to ant-size. He is then brought back to the colony for trial and punishment--to live among the ants and learn their ways to earn his freedom...
