Skippy is the bush-wise, street-smart Park Ranger Kangaroo of the coastal village of Bushtown, where he uses his cool head and keen wit to keep the peace. But the town’s mean, green Mayor, Croco the crocodile, has other plans. Bullied by his ridiculously vain and greedy wife and backed by his team of thugs, Croco attempts to get his hands on everything in Bushtown - especially the money. With the help of his friend Matilda, the savvy TV reporter for Bushtown’s current affairs show, Skippy manages to foil the schemes and Mayor Croco and his goons. -- from the Yoram Gross website

The DVD shown above was released in Australia. If you are elsewhere you will need to be able to play region 4 DVDs and PAL. However, if you can, it can be ordered from Australia, here. It was also released on VHS in Europe. The Skippy character has nothing to do with the kangaroo 'star' of the famous 1960's Australian live action TV series 'Skippy', other than appropriating the name.
