After Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon, they find out that Fiona's parents want to meet their new son-in-law. So, the ogre newlyweds hop in their onion carriage and journey to Fiona's kingdom--which is appropriately known as Far Far Away. Once arriving there however the ogre couple find out the parents had locked Fiona away in the tower so she could fall in love and marry the impossibly handsome Prince Charming--not Shrek! In Jeffrey Katzenberg's words: "So it's a little bit of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner meets Shrek."
