In the distant past, Aku the evil, shape-shifting wizard has conquered a kingdom and enslaved its people. After years of waiting, a Japanese samurai has come to defeat Aku but, before he can strike the final blow, Aku sends the samurai thousands of years into the future. The samurai awakens to discover that the evil that is Aku has now infected all of the Earth and his power is near absolute. Dubbing himself 'Jack', the samurai vows to find a way to return to his own time and destroy Aku once and for all.
