Of Interest: Robotech is an American series constructed from three unrelated, re-dubbed Japanese series: 'Super Dimension Fortress Macross', 'Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross', and 'Genesis Climber Mospeada'. These three shows form the three parts of the Robotech saga, 'Macross Saga', 'Robotech Masters' and 'New Generation'. Only the first is related to the numerous later Japanese 'Macross' series (don't worry, it IS confusing).
