As these fourth graders of Third St. Elementary School will tell you, recess is a culture unto itself. You have the King of the Playground with his loyal flunkies, those frighteningly wild kindergarners, those girls that are so cool they belong on another planet and yes, this oddball group of kids who just want to play a fine round of kickball in peace.
