In the far northern reaches of the Roman Empire, Nestor lived in with his mother in the stable of Olaf the Donkey Breeder. All the other animals there would tease him because his ears were so long that they dragged upon the ground. Nestor felt completely useless and it seemed like he couldn't do anything without tripping over those troublesome ears. One day Olaf gets so fed up with Nestor that he casts the little donkey out into the bitter winter night. All hope seems lost until a little angel finds Nestor and tells him that he is needed for a task that only he and his special ears can complete--far, far away called in a little town called Bethlehem...
