In Transylvania, the famed international thief Lupin the III is seemingly hung for his crimes. Inspector Zenigata is not surprised to discover that Lupin is alive and well, but it does leave the mystery of genetic double that was hung. Meanwhile, Lupin's would-be girlfriend and fellow mercenary thief, Fujiko, is working for a shadowy figure known only as Mamo. She uses her feminine wiles to get Lupin to steal what appears to be a simple pebble from an Egyptian tomb. Lupin's curiousity gets the better of him and he's soon up to his neck in a trouble...
