This early Hanna Barbera duo appeared on the imaginatively titled 'New Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Series' in 1962. Lippy is sort of a hobo/hustler who is charming but not very successful; always coming up with some new scheme to advance their fortunes. Hardy (a depressed Hyena who never laughs - get it?) is generally less enthused about these ideas, and with good reason, as when things backfire, they generally backfire on him first.
