Eight year old Brendon Small, along with his two friends Jason and Melissa, are young filmmakers with a countless home-made short films to their credit. When the group is not writing, directing and starring in their movies, they're being coached by the 'drunk Irish guy', Coach McGuirk, or they're with Brendon's divorced single mom, Paula.
