Rookie racing sensation Lighting McQueen is on the way to the race of his life when he is waylaid in the tiny, backward town of Radiator Springs. Initially he wants nothing more than to get back to his life on the fast-track, but gradually the town of oddballs teaches him about friendship and the truly important things in life.
