Buzz Lightyear of Star Command

The Space Rangers of Star Command are out to enforce peace and order throughout the galaxy and there's no Ranger as dedicated, as courageous or with quite as large an ego as Buzz Lightyear. With his team of Space Rangers--Mira Nova, Booster and XR--they'll be ready to take on whatever the universe has to throw at them... including the evil schemings of one Emperor Zurg!

Although it's sold as a product of both Pixar and Disney, animation-wise Pixar's contribution is limited to a brief spot in the opening credits. Still the idea of a cartoon series for Buzz Lightyear has been kicking around Pixar since the days of the original Toy Story. Early storyboards of the movie had Woody and Andy spending the opening sequence watching an episode of the Buzz Lightyear's TV show.
