Budgie is a young, cheeky helicopter who works at Harefield Airfield. If he isn’t in trouble then he soon will be, either thanks to his naivety, or going against the orders of Harefield’s head helicopter Lionel. New to Harefield are Pippa, a young passenger transporter and Chuck, an easy-going, American-made, heavy-duty helicopter. Together they get out of whatever scrapes and problems they end up getting themselves into.
