Bromwell High is a run-down, working class London school inhabited by streetwise kids and staff who are either spectacularly incompetant or criminally unusual, or both. The three main characters are the girls Keisha, Latrina and Natella. Keisha is intimidating and violent and basically does whatever she likes. Latrina is the slightly dim(mer than usual) white trash one, with Natella being the only one with any real brains rather than just street smarts. Another central character is the headmaster, Iqbal, who won the school in a poker game, and seems to have no interest in education at all, except if he can somehow make money from it, probably illegally.
