Imagine a sort of 14-year old version of South Park, with lashings of The Simpsons, set in New Zealand with working class Samoans/Polynesians as well as Chinese and various other groups, and you're somewhere in the same cosmos. Now in its third season (2006), Bro' Town follows the adventures of a bunch of street kids, their rough-as-guts parents and is sprinkled liberally with NZ specific humour as well as a plethora of guest stars which nearly puts Simpsons to shame. ![]() 'Bro' Town' could be considered to have almost outdone Simpsons or Family Guy in its guest stars. Apart from local celebrities (such as Russell Crowe) it's voice actors have included New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark (three times), and even Prince Charles!
