Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper

As aid to the crown, Preminger has managed to weasel his way into the prime situation. He's stolen the gold from the mines to ensure the kingdom is so broke that the only way the widowed Queen can save her kingdom is to marry off her daughter, Princess Annaliese, to someone wealthy. Preminger thinks that wealthy someone should be him--thereby making him King--but the Queen decides that Annaliese should marry the young and handsome, King Dominic. Refusing to give up, Preminger kidnaps the Princess--saying that she ran away rather than marry Dominique. The whole thing gets really sticky when, in a bid to buy time, Julian (the Princess' young and handsome tutor), gets the help of Erika, a pauper seamtress woman, to play princess while he looks for the missing Annaliese. Except now Erika and Dominic are falling in love! Can we say 'what a royal mess?!'
