Bannertail: The Story of Gray Squirrel

Banner, a young gray squirrel who was raised by a cat, is separated from his adopted mother during a fire in their village. The squirrel flees into the forest, where he gains the respect of an owl by fighting back instead of running. Soon thereafter he comes into contact with others of his species. Yet his feline upbringing puts him at odds with the other squirrels, most of which are distrustful of this newcomer and his odd habits.
