Bambi 2 takes place near the middle of the original 1942 classic. After Bambi's mother is killed by a hunter, his father, the regal Great Prince of the Forest, has no choice but to temporarily raise his young, rambunctious son. Over time, the young prince meets new friends and enemies and tries to make his father proud of him by showing what he can do. It's the ultimate tale of the bond between a father and son.
