Arthur and the Square Knights of the Round Table
A slightly surreal 60's take on the King Arthur legend, sometimes compared in style with 'Rocky and Bullwinkle'. Basically it's all the characters you'd expect, but not always behaving AS you'd expect. The Black Knight, for instance, seems to end up in drag a fair bit.

Not the first Australian cartoon series, but the first to be sold overseas. Co-writer Alex Buzo, then 22, became one of Australia's most famous playwrights, dying in 2006. The voice actors aren't linked to specific characters, but since this information isn't available anywhere else on the web at present, the other actors are: John Ewart Kevin Golsby M. O'Sullivan At present available on DVD in England, and there are some out of print VHS copies in the US, but it seems to be unavailable in its home country.
