All Dogs Go to Heaven
All Dogs Go to Heaven © Don Bluth

Set in 1939 New Orleans, we meet Charlie B. Barkin, a roguish German Shepard with a con man's charm and few morals to speak of. Charlie and his business partner, Carface, owned a dog-casino together until Charlie went to the slammer (aka the dog pound). After Charlie's sidekick, Itchy, breaks him out, Charlie returns to the casino only to be double-crossed by Carface who doesn't want to share all the money they've been making. On his quest for revenge, Charlie comes across a little orphan named Anne-Marie who has the amazing ability to talk to animals. He sees the money that this girl can help him make and takes her under his wing. Together, the unlikely pair find excitement, adventure and even a lesson in true friendship along the way.
