The events of the "Aladdin" TV series take place after The Return of Jafar and before Aladdin and the King of Thieves--the two direct-to-video sequels to the original movie. Thus Aladdin and Jasmine are not yet married and they are searching out adventure, treasure and magic with their friends Iago, Abu, Carpet and, of course, the Genie.
